Wakefield School, St. James School, and Loudoun Country Day all went undefeated in Foxcroft's 2014 Think Pink Basketball Tournament. The big winner was the Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation. The tournament raised more than $4,000 for the foundation. Victories for Wakefield, St. James, LCDS - and Foxcroft's Think Pink benefit!
A capable and compassionate Leesburg breast surgeon, a generous and talented Reston CEO/Middleburg citizen, and a dynamic Loudoun women's organization have been selected as 2013 Cherry Blossom Champions.
Recognizing their significant contributions to the detection of breast cancer, the treatment of breast cancer, the education of women on the need for early and regular screenings, and/or the elimination of the disease, the cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation has named
Dr. Shannon Lehr, Mr. Michael Howland, and the non-profit, 100WOMENSTRONG as Cherry Blossom Champions.
The Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation, a non-profit 501(C)3 organiztion now in its seventh year, will soon have awarded almost $600,000 to local organizations that help local women prevent and fight breast cancer.
